Oink Games will be conducting advanced sales of the immersive deduction game Dying Message, created with collaboration by Cinematrick and Oink Games, at the UK Games Expo in the England.

Dying Message was well-received when it was released in Japan at Game Market Spring 2024. This is a puzzle-crafting deduction game where one player takes on the role of a murder victim, using message cards to create a dying message. The remaining players become detectives, working to figure out who the the criminal is. Dying Message is a collaboration between Oink Games and Cinematrick—a creative duo made up of puzzle creator Fumiko Shimizu (game design) and magician Hiroki Takahashi (producer).

[Product Description] Dying Message is a game where you create an elegant dying message, just like in a detective novel, that points out the criminal! After that, the detectives have to solve the case! You have just been murdered by someone. As your consciousness fades, you must somehow point out the murderer within the limited time you have left! In front of you are 15 cards that you might be able to use. Upon closer inspection, these cards can be used to represent various things by changing their direction or hiding different parts of them. Not only that, but you yourself can become part of the dying message. Where you point your finger, the meaningful pose that you make...you can use your body for anything that can’t be conveyed by the cards.

If the clue is too obvious, the culprit will destroy it. If it’s too difficult, no one will understand, and all hope will be lost. Use your creativity to leave behind the perfect dying message! The other players are the detectives. They must figure the truth with the limited information. Photos of the crime scene will be taken, so make sure not to miss any small clues. The detectives can either cooperate or compete against each other. Whether or not their conclusions turn out to be right on the nose or way off the mark depends on their discussions. The satisfying feeling of coming to an agreeable conclusion or the hilarity of misguided deductions and dying messages is sure to bring a smile to your face.
