"Rafter Five", released by Oink Games in 2023, is a board game that is played by using lumber cards to build a raft and then placing pieces on to that raft. "Rafter Five" is a balance game where there are 5 differently shaped rafter pieces that you must place carefully while also expanding the raft and loading in treasure chests. The "Rafter Five Designer Notes" booklet contains interviews with authors Mashiu and Jun Sasaki, who was also in charge of the artwork, as well as Rie Komatsuzaki and Keiko Inagaki, who facilitated the production of the game. It also features a behind the scene look at the production process. From the thoughts and ideas of the authors to the evolution of the artwork and event reactions...nothing gets left out.
