These 4-panel comics were originally created as display panels for event booths, with the goal of introducing each game in a simple, easy-to-understand way. Even without going into the full rules, each comic is carefully designed to convey the general gameplay and what makes the game fun. In fact, these 4-panel explanations are also used as the "Quick Overview" section in the digital game “Let’s Play! Oink Games,” which lets you play a collection of Oink Games titles.

The idea behind this booklet was that if you could flip through all of these 4-panel explanations at a glance, it would be fun to use them to decide which game to buy or which game to play next.

Because each explanation is short yet clearly captures what makes the game fun, even games you think you already know might surprise you with a “Oh hey, I didn’t realize you could play it that way!” moment.

While out-of-print titles and character collaboration games are not included, this is a book we hope you’ll turn to whenever you’re unsure which Oink Games title to buy or which one to play next.
