A pin badge of the chicken that lays gems from “Fafnir”

Size: 24mm x 24mm Materials: Brass
The story of the board game “Fafnir” goes like this... A chicken named Fafnir can lay two gems a day. But sometimes it can lay even more. The two brothers that came across Fafnir decided that the person that throws away more gems on a given day can receive the freshly laid eggs. It started with a game rule like “Everyday two gem-shaped game pieces enter the play area,” and from there the story of a chicken that can lay gems came to be. But the chicken’s name is “Fafnir”. It’s also the name of a dragon that guards a mountain of gold and silver in a rundown castle. As the story of this game goes, this is how the father of the players named the chicken that can lay gems. On the game box the story had to be simplified, but now it feels like the game is connected to a much grander story. Who wouldn’t want to attach this cute, blue chicken to their bag?
