The Frozen Passage

The Northwest Passage. An elusive sea route along the northern coast of America that's said to link the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. Since the 15th century, expeditions were launched with the dream of discovering it, only to then vanish in the icebergs. This is a cooperative game where you aim to connect 15 cards together while meeting the necessary conditions. But if you veer off course even slighty, your voyage will end in failure. Work together and predict which cards the other players hold, make use of items, and successfully traverse the route that humanity has dreamed of!

Players: 1 - 4 Time: 20 min. Age: 8+

COMPRESS

An endless stream of 1s and 0s. If you can’t reproduce the sequence correctly, you won’t make it. But then you realize...it’s not about memorizing them, it’s about keeping track. All you have at your disposal are the 8 cards in your hand. How can you use them to retain as much information as possible? Instead of relying on your memory, arrange your cards and keep track of the sequence through logic. This is not a "memorization" game...it’s a "recordkeeping" game!

Players: 1 - 7 Time: 20 min. Age: 8+

Kobayakawa

Place your bets. If your hand is the highest, you win! However, watch out for the tricky "Kobayakawa" card. The number on the Kobayakawa is added to the lowest card's value, so even if you're holding the highest number, a win is not guaranteed. Despite its simple rules, this is a quick and exciting card game that will test your bravery and bluffing.

Players: 3 - 8 Time: 20 min. Age: 8+

Meow Tiles

Event special! Normally sold only in Japan, but will be available for purchase at this year's GenCon!

"Meow Tiles" is a puzzle game where the simple and infinitely replayable rules of the original "Nine Tiles" remain the same, but you play with tiles featuring designs of six different types of cats: black, white, tuxedo, calico, orange tabby, and tortoiseshell. Learn to play in just 10 seconds. This is a game both kids and adults will want to play right meow. Flip the nine cat-shaped tiles to find cats hiding and reappearing. All you need to do is arrange the tiles to match the picture on the theme card, but since there is a front and back side, it’s surprisingly hard to find the cat you're looking for. Who will be the first to line up these fickle felines? This game is highly recommended for fun with friends and family, as well as for educational play.

Players: 2 - 4 Time: 15 min. Age: 6+

Kobayakawa Metal Chips (80 pieces)

Metal chips designed exclusively for "Kobayakawa" are here! You can swap them with the paper chips originally included in "Kobayakawa" to play.

This is an English version of our guidebook that helps you understand Oink Games' rules at a glance. The English edition includes titles that are currently in circulation in the United States. This is a book we highly recommend using when you can't decide which Oink Games title to buy or which one to play next.
