Oink Games is excited to announce the release of its new board game, "Loop 40", coming in Autumn 2026. Advance sales will begin in Japan at Game Market Autumn 2026 (October 17–18), followed by Europe at SPIEL Essen in Germany (October 22–25) and North America at PAX Unplugged (December 4–6).

Loop 40 is set in a world where numbers loop from 1 to 40. Players take turns playing cards from their hand, aiming to completely empty their hand by carefully thinking through how to use their cards as efficiently as possible. However, it's not as simple as just "playing a strong card to block other players from responding". A key feature of this game is that the player who wins a round must take all remaining cards from the play area, except for the last card played. Do you keep the play area going with a weaker number, or do you intentionally play a strong number and take the cards?

Every time your turn comes around, you will find yourself deep in thought as you compare the cards in your hand with the situation on the table.

By collecting cards from the play area, you build sequential runs in your hand to craft strong combinations that can be played all at once to take control of the table at just the right moment! It feels amazing when you succeed!

The vivid and colorful cards feature unique geometric patterns for each number. When lined up, they resemble a gradient, visually highlighting completed sequential runs in your hand.

Penalties incurred across rounds are easy to track with chips. Designed in bright colors that match the intensity of the cards, they make it clear who has taken how many penalty points at any given moment! There are five kinds of chips: 1, 5, 10, 20, and 40.

Winning a game lets you get rid of a single chip, so aim for a comeback by getting rid of a high value chip! Loop 40 is based on the game "13th Month 32nd Day" released by "6jizo" at Game Market Autumn 2025. It has been reimagined with adjustments to the card count and scoring chips, alongside completely redesigned components. With the strength of the cards on the table constantly shifting, will you try to win the round and gain more cards, or steadily trim your hand down?

Every single choice matters. It's an addictive card game where you can't stop saying, "Just one more game!"

The numbers 1 to 40 loop around and around. You want to completely empty your hand, but if you win you need to add cards from the table to your hand. In other words, you want to get rid of your cards, but if you win you get more. However, if the numbers on the cards you collect connect, you have a chance to play a huge sequence next time! Should you get more cards? Or pass and let someone else collect them? As the strength keeps changing, you are constantly forced to make tough decisions!
